Job Description
As a part of the Engineering team at WinZO, you will be responsible for managing systems and infrastructure running at scale serving millions of users in tier 2 to tier 5 cities giving them a smooth gaming experience. We are a data-driven company, and our objective is to ensure smooth functioning of our platform. At WinZO, you will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders. Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer science or equivalent degree.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Undertake end-to-end development ofservicesfrom product to tech to user with optimization analysis
- Design distributed systems and their components that can be used across WinZO for building services to handle the scale
- Standardizing & improving the code development process. Research and create tools and processes to maintain coding practices and standards across the platform and champion their adoption
- Responsible for owning and reviewing system architecture and design and building everything with a hawk-eye
- Work on building a technology that enables users to play games in limited bandwidth/resources such as 3G/Edge, phones with smaller RAMs etc.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Recognize impedimentsto our efficiency as a team, propose and implementsolutions
- Experiment with emerging technologies and tools and drive the adoption ofsame
- Owning infrastructure and monitoring services used and deployed by the team
- Hiring and mentoring individualsin the team and ensuring standards are maintained at every level
- Leading the project planning, supervising, and delegating duties within the development team.
- Draft long term technology roadmap and vision of the team
Skills & Qualification
- Sound familiarity with at least one of the programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Erlang, Elixir, Ruby, Java
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
- An innovative lens towards gaming industry in alignment with WinZO’s vision of reaching every household in Bharat like never before
- Knowledge of mobile platforms is good to have as WinZO is a mobile first product and you should know how the system works. ● Excellent people managementskills with an ability to get work done with appropriate guidance
- Comfortable to work in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
- Experience working with a relational database
- Good to have knowledge of MongoDB/Redis/ElasticSearch/Kafka
- Strong algorithm/data structures design and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing and owning applications catering to millions of daily requests is a plus
