Job Description
ASE SRE will be responsible for upkeep of our systems/services to be highly reliable, stable, and meet the performance expectations. Work with team to automate jobs and create required dashboards in collaboration with the development and infrastructure teams for the upkeep of the key services in production.
Eligibility Criteria
B.S/M.S in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps or SRE role in a highly customer focused environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partners with the development and the infrastructure teams to develop, automate, deploy, support, and monitor the existing and new services in test & production.
- Develop scripts, deployment frameworks, monitors, self-healing/auto remediation tools and automate the processes.
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps or SRE role in a highly customer focused environment.
- Has basic understanding in Cloud services specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Good knowledge of Linux OS, understanding of network infrastructure and database.
- Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
- Good understanding of APIs and proficient in any programming/scripting languages such as Python/Shell scripting for building automation.
- Cloud certification is nice to have.
