Eligibility Criteria
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in technology (Computer Science, Information Science
- 4+ years of development in big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, etc.)
- 2+ years’ experience in developing ETL pipelines in Snowflake Data Warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflake’s SnowSQL and SnowPipe
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leverage CSG’s Xponent to build operational marketing databases for customers across a range of verticals.
- Develop custom extensions to the standard data model where needed, to accommodate customer specific data sources that are not represented within the standard data model, to support analytics, reporting and marketing activation use cases
- Productize custom-developed artifacts into the Xponent standard data model, where applicable
- Create and maintain database artifacts, technical documents (functional specs, design document, data model) for all custom development
- Design and implement test procedures to ensure data quality
- Provide feedback and ideas on improvements to the Xponent feature set and usability- with the aim of continuously improving the implementation process and results.
Skills & Qualification
- Understanding of Snowflake Architecture, Snowflake Cloud Development & Snowflake Admin Management
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark is a must.
- Knowledge of Spark Performance Tuning & Cluster Optimization techniques is a must
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server etc.) and database design concepts is a must
- Knowledge Kafka and NoSQL Databases (Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.) is preferred
- Knowledge of Scala, Java, Kubernetes, Airflow is a plus
- Experience in Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus
