Job Description
We are a rapidly expanding SaaS looking for a dedicated and skilled Fronted Software Development Engineer to be a vital part of our frontend dev team. This full-time, contract-to-hire role is tailor-made for someone adept at creating frontend JavaScript and TypeScript services and clients. Your contributions will directly impact how our clients integrate with and experience our services.
If you have exceptional JavaScript and TypeScript and frontend as well as full stack abilities, with experience in manipulating web content dynamically and capturing on-page events, you will be an integral force in refining our customer’s webpages. Further, the opportunity to build standalone systems like a redirect engine that boasts remarkable speed and efficiency awaits you.
Education & Eligibility Criteria
- 1-5 years of professional experience in frontend / full-stack development with a specific focus on JavaScript and TypeScript and a keen understanding of frontend performance optimization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop new and maintain existing features and functionality in our Vue.js and Nuxt-based analytics application (Beacon), as well as its companion Chrome Extension (Beacon for Chrome).
- Develop lightweight and efficient JavaScript clients for seamless integration into tag managers, ensuring smooth deployment on our customer’s webpages.
- Dynamically modify DOM, including inserting new content and rewriting product URLs, ensuring seamless user experience without disrupting web page functionality.
- Implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor on-page events, such as button interactions, hovers, and clicks.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure frontend systems efficiently interact with backend services, particularly in data recording and processing.

Skills & Qualification
- Experience in frontend / full-stack development with a specific focus on JavaScript and TypeScript and a keen understanding of frontend performance optimization.
- Knowledge of frontend development frameworks like Vue.js, Nuxt and React is a plus
- Experience in creating frontend systems for tag managers, especially Google Tag Manager.
- Strong understanding of dynamic web content manipulation, particularly in URL rewriting and on-page event tracking.
- Knowledge of designing and maintaining fast-processing systems, with emphasis on low latency and high data integrity.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD workflows, and frontend testing frameworks is a bonus.
